Our teachers and instructors aim to maximize self expression and confidence both in class and in the everyday world. In this program we inspire self-expression, personal wellness, confidence-building, stimulating creativity, artistic expression, teamwork and positive thinking.
Students will learn body awareness and technical and expressive skills to communicate through movement confidently, creatively and intelligently. Choreographic and performance skills and appreciation of their own and others’ dances.
Aesthetic, artistic and cultural understandings of dance in past and contemporary context, traditions, histories and cultures of dance by making and responding as active participants and informed audiences.
Learning, thought, creativity, and intelligence don’t just come from the brain alone, but from the entire body-Movement combinations increase memory, order, and sequencing skills.
This program introduces the art of entertainment into their world, whether they desire to become professional dancers or choreographers, pursue a career in acting or theatre, enhance their performance in athletics or for wellness purposes, it is all possible with the Creative Dance Program.
Creative Dance Program Highlights:
• Dance styles include a mix of Basic Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, HipHop, Breakdancing,
Freestyle, Floorwork, Footwork, Acrobats, and Contortion
• Customized positive repetition-based drills and fundamental training
• Warm-up and Cool down program
• Position-specific training
• Specific drills promoting proper dance movement
• Strength, Conditioning, Mobility, and Flexibility training
• Guest workshops throughout the year
• Customized training to student needs
• The program is seamlessly integrated into the daily schedule
Caroline has been a performer for over 20 years. Her love for entertainment started at a very young age. With experience in gymnastics, recreational dance classes, choreographing high school dance troupes, illusion shows, and competitive dancing, she has won multiple titles at dance competitions and now performs on the biggest stages in Canada. She excels at creativity especially while performing.
Her work has been featured at Canada’s Wonderland, The Royal Winter Fair, Screemers, Jamie Allen’s Illusionarium, Magen Boys Entertainment and national fairs like Saskatoon Ex, Queen City Ex and Red River Ex.
Her current live performances include The Magic of Aaron Matthews, The Kill Show, and The Canine Circus (semi-finalist on Canada’s got talent 2022)
