Our Elementary School Program builds strong students from Kindergarten to Grade 6

King Heights Academy, Elementary School Program is dedicated to developing students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being, focusing on international-mindedness and strong personal values. Using our Kindergarten and Primary Years Program (PYP), we nurture independent learning skills and encourage every student to take responsibility for their learning.

About the International
Baccalaureate (IB) Program

KINDERGARTEN TO GRADE 6
The International Baccalaureate focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside. It is a concept-based curriculum framework defined by PYP Transdisciplinary Themes of global significance, explored using knowledge and skills from the subject areas, with a powerful emphasis on inquiry-based learning.

WHAT IS THE IB PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAM?
The IB Primary Years Program, for students aged 3 to 12.
  • Encourages international mindedness in IB students
  • Encourages a positive attitude to learning by engaging students in inquiries and developing their awareness of the process of learning so that they become life-long learners
