About Us – Achieving Excellence Together

Our child-centered philosophy is based on a pedagogical approach that fosters holistic learning and a community of professional support and parent involvement.

We provide a network of support in both academics and extra-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities to expose students to a broad spectrum of possibilities, enabling them to acquire learner profile traits, develop intellectually, emotionally, socially, and to thank critically and take pride in their achievements.

Our Programs start from:

18 months – 2.5 years Preschool (daycare)
2.5 – 4 years Pre-Kindergarten (JK)
5 – 6 years Kindergarten (SK)
Grades 1 – 6 Elementary Program
Grades 7 -8 Middle Years Programs
Grades 9 – 12 Secondary School Programs.

Academics at King Heights Academy

At King Heights Academy, we provide a unique educational experience for children in Pre-K through to Secondary School. Our academic programs interweave the provincial curriculum and International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program to provide safe and collaborative tools and create authentic learning experiences and global interactions for our students.

About the International Baccalaureate Program

The International Baccalaureate focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside. It is a concept-based curriculum framework defined by PYP Transdisciplinary Themes of global significance, explored using knowledge and skills from the subject areas, with a powerful emphasis on inquiry-based learning.
